Live map · on your phone and in the browser
Track YOUR sky. Not the entire world.
We spot the interesting aircraft above YOUR location — military transports, warbirds, rare types. The alert arrives before the flyover. You just run outside.
The alert arrives 10 to 30 minutes ahead, depending on how long you need. Three minutes before the flyover, one more: go outside.

Flight trackers are great. Just not for spotters.
Local, not global
You care about YOUR sky. One location, smart filters, zero clutter. Watching the whole world is what other tools are great at — this is something else.
Alerts that matter
A C-17 overhead beats a thousand A320s on a map. We filter, you shoot.
Fair price
14 days of Pro after signup, then Free forever — no card, no tricks. Pro at €4.99/mo: the price of two coffees, built for spotters.
Everything you need for a perfect catch
Global maps show everything. Spotterra does one thing: it tells you what to run outside for right now.
Cards with the Pro badge are part of the subscription. Everything else is in the Free account too.

Smart categories
16 aircraft categories in 4 sections — military transports, fighters, rare airliners, vintage, bizjets and more. You choose what counts as a catch.
Inbound alerts with ETA
An A380 250 NM out and heading your way? You get the exact overhead time precisely 10–30 minutes ahead — you pick the lead. And 3 minutes before: go outside.
Wishlist — dream catches
Pick up to 20 dream types (B-52, Beluga, A380…). Pro radar tracks them continent-wide and warns you up to 2 hours before they pass your sky.
Multi-channel notifications
Telegram, Discord, email or browser push — zero setup, we deliver everything for you. In your language.
Logbook & badges
Every catch logged automatically with aircraft photos, heatmaps and stats. Earn badges for milestones and rare finds.
Spotting Assistant
Active runway prediction from live weather, METAR/TAF, golden hour times and curated spotting locations.

The A380 will fly over your house at 15:42. You will know at 15:22.
Spotterra tracks interesting aircraft up to 250 NM out, validates their route and smooths the ETA from live fixes. The alert lands exactly in your lead window — 10 to 30 minutes before the flyover, your choice. Three minutes before overhead, one more ping: go outside.
An airliner across the Moon. At 22:24:07.
The hardest shot in planespotting comes down to seconds and metres. Spotterra works out both for your exact spot.
A countdown to the second
Which aircraft will cross the Sun or Moon disc, how close to the centre it passes, and how long you have. It beeps at two and a half minutes — enough to get the camera up.
Where to stand
The transit corridor is hundreds of metres wide, not kilometres. We tell you to move 240 m east — or that you are already in it and should stay put.
No false certainty
Low above the horizon, refraction widens the error. A climbing aircraft makes the timing touchier. And when the Moon phase is too thin to shoot, we say so.
Push even with the app closed
The server computes transits for your exact spot and tells you 2–10 minutes ahead. Real disc crossings only, at most six a day. Other trackers can't — they need an open tab.

Honesty first: positions come from live ADS-B with a ±120 m uncertainty band. This is a hunt, not a delivery service — the band is where your odds peak.
For venues
Live Station — your sky on your screen
A live aviation board for spotting terraces, hotels and cafés near the airport. Guests ask what's flying over — the screen answers with a name, photo and route. No antenna, no installation, from €39 a month.
100 airport guides, one live map
From Heathrow to Maho Beach — where to stand, what flies and when to go. Every guide opens the live sky over that airport.

Retro, anniversary and alliance liveries
A hundred airframes worldwide that don't look like the rest. Spotterra knows them by registration and tells you when one flies by.
Spot them on the map
A livery gets a teal ring and a name. No digging through registrations — “SAS Retro A319” sits right in the flight detail.
It pings when one is near
In your radius and at an airport you watch — where Spotterra tells you whether it just took off or landed. A departure you can still chase; an arrival you can't. Pro adds a pack covering all of Europe.
A collection you can finish
The app counts how many you already have. Unlike aircraft types, this collection has a finite size — and can actually be completed.
Curated by hand from public sources. A repainted airframe drops off the list; its history stays.

FAQ
Where does the data come from?
From the adsb.lol community ADS-B network (open data). No hardware needed on your side.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every new account gets 14 days of full Pro without a card; after that it moves to Free on its own, and Free lasts forever. Nothing is charged and your data stays.
How fast are the alerts?
Data refreshes every ~15 seconds. Alerts fire when an interesting aircraft enters your radius, and Pro inbound alerts warn you up to 30 minutes before it is overhead.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, the map and alerts are mobile-first. And since August 2026 there are native mobile apps too — in your phone’s store.
Does it replace FlightRadar24?
It doesn't — and doesn't try to. Global trackers are great for watching the whole world and we love them too. Spotterra does the one thing they don't: it watches YOUR sky and tells you when to go outside — smart categories, inbound ETA, wishlist, a logbook with photos. Many spotters use both.
Your next rare catch is already airborne.
Set your location in 60 seconds and never miss it again.
Spotterra keeps working in the browser too — the app is comfort, not a requirement.
